Julien Nebenzahl, CFTe 2003, has an initial background in management (ESCEM) and economics (Paris X University). He started his career as a portfolio manager, having used technical analysis since 1994. In 1996, he managed long-only and alternative funds in an asset management company where he was head of equities investments in 1998. In 2000, Julien founded Day By Day, the leading European technical analysis independent research house. He has been the chairman of the French society of Technical Analysis (AFATE) from 2004 to 2007. Co-author of one of the most widely read French books on TA, he publishes his research on major markets on a daily basis.

Julien will start his talk by explaining how he approaches technical analysis and which tools he uses. He will then go on to show his audience how to apply these different tools and how to incorporate them into asset management and trading. Special attention will be placed upon medium-term cycles and how to use these in short-term strategies.
