Ethics & Procedures Deborah Owen
This committee ensures that the STA adheres to the highest ethical standards in all of its activities. Reviews our procedures and publications and consults with the Board on an ongoing basis.
Data Quality Adam Sorab
Highlights the importance of trustworthy financial market data to technical analysts/market participants to exchanges and has successfully lobbied data vendors, exchanges and other bodies to ensure that their data is of the highest quality.
Regional Chapters TBC
Promotes the STA at a regional level in the UK for members who cannot make the London meetings.

Organize the STA educational courses that prepare associate members for the STA Diploma exam. Work with higher institutes of learning to teach TA at their locations.

Finds and purchases books and material on technical analysis, charting, market behaviour and related topics for the STA collection at the Barbican Library.

Finds and purchases books and material on technical analysis, charting, market behaviour and related topics for the STA collection at the Barbican Library.

Works on increasing the STA membership by promoting the merits of STA membership to professional and private investors.
Journal Deborah Owen
The STA Market Technician is the Journal of the STA that publishes articles by expert members and guest writers on technical analysis and charting methods as well as book and software reviews.
STA Website David Watts

Publish the STA website to promote, educate and inform the public and members about the STA. Update the members only section with relevant information for STA members such as job postings, meeting notes and contact groups.

Market the STA to the professional investment community and to retail investors as the professional technical analysis body in the UK. Promote the use of TA at every investment decision level and work with other bodies and groups to promote the STA courses, meetings and advantages of membership.
Software Group David Watts
Review new and existing TA and charting software for the STA, presenting this regularly to the members through the STA Market Technician Journal and at occasional meetings.
Scottish Chapter Alisdair McKinnon
Represents the STA in Scotland, organizing meetings and conferences.
Academic Liaison Axel Rudolph
Work with universities and other institutions of higher learning to offer TA courses, seminars and classes. Promote the use of TA as an investment tool to academia.
